Welcome to the official blog site of the NSCC San Joaquin County Division & NLCC Company.
We are a division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) and United States Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC).
The NSCC is a program for young men and women ages 13-17 who are interested in developing their skills in leadership, basic seamanship, courage, self-reliance, military discipline, and are committed to being drug/alcohol/gang free.
The NLCC is the junior cadet program for the NSCC. The NLCC introduces boys and girls ages 11-14 to naval life through instruction in basic seamanship and leadership.
All cadets are uniformed and instructed by uniformed naval personnel (active, reserve, retired), by senior cadets, and by dedicated adult volunteer leaders who comprise the NSCC Officer Corps. Cadets have absolutely no commitment regarding future military service. Visit the USNSCC’s national website for more information.
